Really nice cabins and very friendly staff! Whe stayed here one night during our roadtrip heading North and used it as a base to explore vulcanic grounds surrounding crater navidad. Everything was available and clean. Really liked having breakfast at the veranda.

We stumbled across Spectre Lodge whilst doing research for our trip to Chile, asoon as I saw it I so excited to come and experience this magical place. Kris and James are absolutely fantastic hosts. Everything was so perfect during our entire stay, they focus on the fine details to make sure your stay is a memorable experience. The level of detail these two have invested in this beautiful place shines through. I’ll remember this trip forever. I won’t go into too much detail about the place itself, as I feel that the surprise adds to the magic experience. The food is beyond incredible, we looked forward to breakfast and Dinner each day. So much choice and all cooked perfectly. James was so informative about all of the activities that were available in the local area for summer/winter. The level of thought that has gone into supplying all of this information for so that the guests can get the most of our their stay, is truely impressive and genuine. Would recommend to everybody! 10/10 stay. Thank you Kris and James! We will hopefully return in the future!

The house is in a fantastic location and the views are even better than the photos. The design with the large open windows all around provides amazing views to the mountains, forests and sunsets. We are a family of 5 and it was a perfect place to base ourselves to hike and explore the nearby volcanoes, mountains and lakes. The open lounge, dining, kitchen was a great area to relax, eat and share a great time together. Would definitely recommend the place to travellers to this area. The host German was also very generous with his time, sitting down with us to discuss the planned hikes and routes and advising us of other areas to explore. Couldn’t have asked for a better stay!!

Nice small private space. Just right to relax. This place would be great in the ski season (nice wood pellet stove would be very cozy) or in the summer (I was there in early summer) when the wildflowers and the hiking are great. Open windows and enjoy fresh cool air.

It's a very picturesque town, with everything nearby: hot springs, a ski resort, national parks, etc. There's a very well-stocked supermarket, so you don't need to bring anything. There are bakeries and cafes with delicious treats. There are also some very good restaurants, with prices similar to those in the city. I recommend Nativa Restaurant.

Malalcahuello is a very peaceful town in southern Chile, a moderate distance from the city of Temuco and surrounded by nature, rivers, waterfalls, mountains, lagoons, and volcanoes! It's a place to visit by car, exploring every corner; by mountain bike, venturing onto the bike paths; or in hiking boots, enjoying beautiful walks on its varied and stunning trails.

The ski slopes in Corralco are great.

The ski slopes in Corralco are great. We had lunch at Las Terrazas restaurant; the service was excellent. It's easy to get around with your own transportation. I would look for another cabin; there are better and cheaper ones. I wouldn't recommend Ruta Andina.

It's easy to get around, the people are very friendly, there are beautiful places to visit, a wide variety of shops, plenty of restaurants, and typical local activities like the burning of the snowman effigy. Wonderful!!

The staff and owner were very attentive, the restaurant food was good and plentiful, and the place is beautiful and cozy. The only thing that needs improvement is the soundproofing of the rooms, as you can hear the toilet flushing from the next room.

We liked everything. The Hotel is well maintained and in the same time feels like home. We stayed in a matrimonio room, very clean cozy and amazing view. The common area is very welcome and the staff is amazing. They asked us when exactly we want to have breakfast and in that time what gave us fresh bread, eggs and many other things. I don’t know why this place has not many reviews, the location is very convenient if you go to Coralco. It’s also very warm in the hotel, we slept like a babies.

Very good equipped with all you need + more. Nice taras where you can seat in the afternoon sun shine. Even barbecue. Would be much nicer to stay longer, but... hope next time. Fantastic restaurant located just on the other side of the road, walking distance. Really close to the ski resort.
