Very comfortable room in a nice hotel. The staff is hospitable and even speaks English and can therefore give tips about the area. Breakfast is also provided and there is coffee. They have some really nice cats.

Bed was nice, the staff was very friendly and helpful with giving us directions as to where restaurants are and how to get to the popular tourist attractions such as the Old Street or how to get to the high speed train station. She even mentioned how much it would cost when going by taxi so we wouldn't get scammed. Optional breakfast was very cheap and you can eat as much as you need for only 10 rmb.

Nice and clean rooms with view. Bathroom was great. Very good buffet breakfast. Welcoming staff, which do his best to help even if not english speaking (traduction apps helped ). They are patient and find a solution. An excellent value for money ! Thank you, don’t change anything

I was delighted with my stay. The experience of a hotel is obviously different than staying at this traditional house (e.g. colder, less comfy bed etc.) but this only added to the authentic charm. The position is fantastic, as I had my balcony on the high street. Clean environment. Loved the bed warmer. Communication with the host was superb in helping out with getting around the city. Would recommend to everyone. Great breakfast too.

Very clean and super helpful and friendly host. He helped us with our luggages and showed us where to find food at night. He also helped to arrange transportation for us to go around huangshan. The house is very clean despite it being a historical place. Very authentic chinese house. Thank you!

    We went to the hotel to climb Huangshan mountain. The owner had a very good description of what we would do the next day. However, due to food poisoning I couldn’t go anymore. Instead, the owner went above and beyond to take care of me, and later my dependent, up and to the point that he drove us to the hospital and translated everything for the local doctors. I didn’t get to walk the mountain, but there is no other place that I would recommend than this place, by a long shot. Outstanding.

    Artistically designed boutique hotel. Makes you feel at home. Helpful staff who made extra effort to accommodate us in preparing non meat buns for breakfast. Appreciate them going that extra mile. Hotel located beside the river. You get great river vista from the dining room.
