I was surprised at this hostel: everything is superb: it is near the Bell Tower and the metro station. The staff was welcoming and very helpful, especially Emmy. The installations were excellent, clean. They have free fruit and refreshments. The common area is very comfortable and they even have an area where they keep colorful birds which add an extra touch of homeliness when they sing. The dorm room has 2 bunks made of wood, with private bathroom. Large lockers and a desk. The beds are very comfortable and clean. On the 4th floor there is a library and a tea house, surrounded by jazmin with its fragrance. There is wifi in all the rooms. Breakfast was very good and is included. Also, they allow you the use of washing and drying machines. All in all, it is the best hostel that I know and felt sorry to leave since I was so comfortable.

Warm welcome in this quiet place located in a small village near Guilin. It's a great place to stay if you plan to visit both Yangshuo (around 1 hour and a half drive) and Longji rice terraces. Maria is really nice and we spent great time chatting about different topics (using a translator). She was really helpful for the organization of some activities during our stay, including a full day in Longji with a driver, which I warmly recommend. She was fundamental also when we lost a package in a taxi when leaving and she arranged the delivery to Shanghai in a couple of days, SUPER! You have also the chance to do a cooking class to prepare dumplings and then eat all together, maybe also with other guests travelling. If you are looking for a place in Guilin you should absolutely stay at their place!

Cannot say enough good things about this hotel. Staff were incredibly friendly and helpful. The location was not as close to the metro as I would have hoped, but once I arrived it was very easy to navigate around the city. The room was fantastic, the amenities were great. Very luxurious for a great price. Would definitely stay here again next I visit.

Even though we were only there for two days we were very pleased with the location of the hotel, it is close to a park which is beautifully lit in the evening. Staff very helpful w warm thanks to the main manager David who looked after us very well until the very end he was very kind and courteous. I hope we can come back here again sometime .

Staff were great and extremely helpful. The suites are lovely to stay in with wonderful views, the food in the main restaurant was delicious and had cuisines from around the world as well as local food. Mr Wang was a great concierge at the desk too

    The site is amazing, rich with culture, is huge and easy to enjoy, no need to rush as there is plenty of time of enjoyed every single venue. A bit hot and stiff there as there is in closure facility but that is part of the experience.

    Cycling on the city wall was great, even in the rain.

    Cycling on the city wall was great, even in the rain. Unfortunately, the Muslim Quarter and Terracotta Soldiers were so crowded it was hard to really enjoy them. There was quite a bit of jostling and even pushing going on which is hard to take at the best of times but add in the heat and it became close to unbearable.

    We were there for a wedding and just touring.

    We were there for a wedding and just touring. Xi'an was fantastic. I needed to buy a dress for the wedding and my daughter-in-law and her mom took me to an outstanding mall - SAGA. It was so much fun. I was treated like royalty. There is so much to see and do We went to a park that had lotus blooming and you could rent boats and take them around the lake. Of course, we visited Goose Tower, Bell Tower and Drum Tower, Shaanxi History Museum, the Terracotta Warriors and Huashan Mountain. We also saw the City Wall in the evening and it was spectacular. The food of Xi'an is so fresh and delicious. The people are so kind and helpful. The subway is spotless and so inexpensive. DiDis are plentiful as well.

    Loved the Terra Cotta Warriors and how easy it was to sign...

    Loved the Terra Cotta Warriors and how easy it was to sign up with good tour from hotel! Also enjoyed the Wild Goose Temple, the City Wall, parks, but found Muslim Quarter a bit too touristy with junky shops.

    We were able to enjoy visiting the Terracotta Warriors without the crowds, as our Tour Guide made the call to start an hour earlier which meant we were at the entry gate at opening time 8:30am, plus we enjoyed delicious local food at a very good restaurant before going off to walk the Xi'an City Wall. Fantastic subway system to easily get to your Hotel from the Airport or train stations.

    This was the best hotel we had in our whole trip to China. The room was very comfortable, the bed was amazing (king size), the bathroom was so handy as well as the shower and all the supplies they gave to us. We liked the breakfast options as well so highly recommend this place. It is very near to different attractions in the city, few minutes walk to most of the things to see in Xi'An.

    The views over the city were so beautiful! Huge room with huge bathroom! Staff was very friendly and helpful even if english is a barrier in china, but didn’t bother us! The location is far from center but we knew that when we booked it! With an uber (or chinese didi) you don’t have any problems, is also cheap to use it! Very good breakfast! Worth the visit

    A really clean modern hotel in the heart of X’ian. In walking distance to the beautiful parks around the city wall and the metro. I have to say this was my favourite hotel of my trip around China. Breakfast was great too!
