Really great place to stay if visiting the national park. You can walk to the east entrance and also walk to the night market and evening show. Very comfy big beds and large rooms. Very quiet so had really good sleeps. The ladies at the front desk are absolutely wonderful and so so helpful. They helped us plan our days in the park and organised tickets and were so patient with all our questions.

Beautiful place! Hotel is in a strategical place near west gate and it’s very nice, very close to the mountains. Choose montain wiew room! But the best thing is the staff, Winnie will help you to organize everything, before and during the trip, she speaks perfect english. She is so precise and professional. I forgot some clothes in the hotel and she send them to me to another hotel and back to Italy. She is kind and beautiful. Rate 10/10

The location of the hotel is convenient to enter the park, very quiet, and live back to pick up and drop off, very good! Breakfast is provided and the evening menu is a la carte and the food is quite good! The staff is also very good, affinity! Zhangjiajie is very beautiful and worth it!

A beautiful hotel with an excellent location. The manager is really helpful and friendly and perfect guide for the area around the hotel. The room was very well furnished and spacious. The breakfast is beyond. The dog Popeye is so cute. Zhangjiajie national park is a must see.

Perfect Location for the Park. It is only few minutes walk to Park Entrance.The guesthouse even have a lift with this price, which is so nice for our luggage to high floor . Room is clean and big size with soft bed.The manger speaks English .She is very knowledgeable about Zhangjiajie and help us arrange everything trip, train station pick up to make your stay more relaxing. I would to recommend here for everyone who want to explore Zhangjiajie.

The homestay is very authentic and elegant nestled inside a beautiful mountain. The staff are extremely helpful and caring which makes my stay memorable. They drive you to different national park with nice cars and safe driver. They help you with ticket bookings and itinerary and found us the best guide!

The owner was really nice, friendly and thoughtful about us. The room was comfortable and the breakfast very good. The living room has a welcoming atmosphere. We were sick and he gave us some chinese medication to get better.

The kindness and thoughtfulness of the host. She gave us valuable advice on how to visit the huge forest park in limited time. Following her suggested routes, we don't have to queue a minute even during the long weekend holiday. Yes, its location might not be close to other area with shops or restaurants, but we had dinners in the homestay for two evenings, and the dishes were great! Besides, the room is clean, and materials served in the homestay were eco friendly. 10/10 recommended.

Overall, the entrance fees of National Park is expensive as it sold as 4 days entry . Tiemen Mt , Grand Canyon and Dragon Caves adding up are costly for family of four. Dining out in restaurants are more expensive than other city like Chong Qing , Shang hai ,etc…. The nature of both mountains are breathtaking and people are friendly.

Be prepared to walk and climb plenty of steps. Thank goodness they have escalators up Tianmenshen and cable cars & lifts up and down the mountains. Take your time, enjoy the fresh air and awesome views.

The nature in national park and Tianmen mountain and Grand canyon breath taking. The glass cliff walk and glass bridges interesting when not in clouds. People's reactions to them hilarious. Some of the hiking so relaxing and the further you go from the lifts, escalators the closer you feel to nature. Be prepared for steps, weather changes and the golden whip is valley hike that anyone can do at any age and so happy to see whole hike wheelchair accessible.

Beautiful place to visit for adventurous trekkers and hikers. GEt close to nature and fresh mountain air. Views at special spots are fantastic. I stayed for a week as we need time to rest after the long hikes. Give allowance for thick mist in the highlands and rainy days where views are not clear and visibility is poor. Visit lowland areas (10 mile gallery and golden whip stream) when highlands are misty. Try to avoid the golden week though there are additional buses and staff to help out. During this period, entering through west gate is helpful as human traffic is lesser.

Beautiful national park to explore and less touristy town full of interesting cuisine and local attractions , not too crowded but lively in the evenings, mountains and glass walk ways amazing , some beautiful under rated ancient Buddha Temples at the top of Tianmin mountain we enjoyed more than Beijing

Stunning!

Stunning! our 2nd favorite natural attraction in China, 2nd only to Huangshan Mountain. lots of great trails with exceptional views of a singular landscape. we stayed inside the park at YOLO hotel, which made access very easy. fortunately, transportation inside the park is shuttle bus only, they run frequently, and there's no congestion from private autos like you get at Yosemite. there's a big focus on "Avatar", but that is only one pillar of hundreds. Zhangjiajie is like Arizona's Grand Canyon except in a temperate rain forest, and on a more intimate scale, plus there are no incessant helicopters or mule feces.

The best place for us to close to ZhangJiajie National Forest Park. The excellent view from the hotel and location for looking across at the mountains. The owner were super friendly and help us everything(tickets for the Park, cable car and Tianmen Mountain for the next day. The breakfast is delicious and food is fresh. The Matthew were happy to help with any and all questions on-line.We love this quite place where can run away from the hustle and bustle of the city and just relaxed here. I would highly recommend this hotel to all.

Had an excellent time during my stay. The rooms were very clean and modern. Staff is also friendly and helpful, as they provided me explanation on how to make my way through Tianmenshan and Zhangjiajie National Park (Avatar Mountains) and I was picked up and dropped of at the airport. They also provided delicious food. The location is ideal, as it’s close to both the airport and Tianmenshan. Would definitely stay here again. (The quality of the photos is not so good as I took a video, but Booking won’t let me upload this)

Really clean and comfy hotel. The room is really spacious and modern. The bathroom is really great as well with Japanese WC and a big shower. The staff was more than amazing. Really helpful even though we don’t speak a common language. Translators make it easier. They were really thoughtful about our stay, they booked the park for us with a discount, organised our visits and helped us with taxis. This is definitely a place to stay if you want to visit Zhangjiajie.

It was very close to the Zhangjiajie national park main entrance. The hotel itself had a very calm vibe, the staff was very kind and helpful. They helped us book all pf pur trips and provided free shuttle services for most attractions. We even got a tea ceremony at the hotel. The restaurant onsite was also lovely and offered a lot of vegetarian options.
