Beautiful new hotel. The location was great to explore the historic district. The decor was tastefully done and the room comfortable. We had to depart before breakfast so were given a large packaged breakfast instead.

The location is perfect for exploring La Candelaria and Simon Bolivar square area and a busy shopping market area. It is peaceful and equipped enough for you to prepare food if you want. There's a mini market a few doors away. The terrace has a fabulous view. The manager was very helpful with check in and arranging a taxi to the airport (even though the driver tried to charge us nearly double what we expected to pay). Hot shower was great as it's quite chilly in Bogota.

I recently spent several nights at Grand Hotel Bogotá, and from the moment I arrived, I knew I had chosen the right place. The hotel has a warm, elegant atmosphere that makes you feel welcome immediately. One of the highlights for me was the beautiful pool area spacious, clean, and perfect for relaxing after a busy day in the city. Whether in the morning or evening, it was always a place to unwind. The pool bar was another great feature. It has a stylish yet comfortable vibe, and the drinks were excellent. I really enjoyed spending time there in the evenings; it’s the kind of bar where you can relax, socialize, or just enjoy a drink. My room was impressively large, much bigger than I expected, and very well maintained. The bed was extremely comfortable, and I loved the amount of natural light that came in. Everything was spotless, and the amenities were of great quality. It truly felt like a space I could settle into, not just a place to sleep. The location couldn’t be better—very central, with easy access to restaurants, cafés, shopping, and key attractions. I was able to walk to many places, and when I needed transportation, it was always simple to arrange. However, the best part of my stay was, without a doubt, the incredible staff. I want to give a special mention to Sofía, Santiago, and Geraldine, who consistently went above and beyond. They were friendly, professional, and always ready to help with genuine warmth. Whether it was offering local tips, assisting with arrangements, or simply greeting me with a smile, they made my experience truly memorable. Their service reflects the standards of the hotel. Overall, Grand Hotel Bogotá exceeded my expectations in every way. I felt comfortable, welcome, and very well taken care of throughout my entire stay. I would absolutely stay here again and highly recommend it to anyone visiting Bogotá!
