It was just amazing: the place, the activities, the people…the family was so helpful and nice…jhon picked us from the Airport and organized everything to get to the place…especially the nightwalk with our very nice guide Hector was amazing, the food was also delicious but for us a bit too much…and it is great to have a place without electricity and where the cellphone doesnt work…within the short time we spent there (4 Nights) we totally regenerated … we never slept that good and that much … thanks again to jhon and his family and Hector…what else to expect: monkeys (they cross the trees next to the cabins every day around 5pm), lots of birds and butterflys, spiders, frogs,…bring your binoculars! Keep in mind, that the meal-price is not included at booking.com

Staying at this hostal with a local family was an unforgettable experience! It offered an authentic glimpse into the daily life of the Macedonia community. We had incredible adventures, including a night walk through the jungle, a canoe ride on the river, and an amazing trip to a neighboring community in Peru. The chance to observe the stunning nature up close was truly special. The food was delicious, and the comfort exceeded our expectations. If only we could have stayed longer!

I was impressed with my room, it offered a sizeable double bed and the accomodation itself overlooked the Amazon river. where you can admire the sunrise and sunset. The staff were super helpful & friendly. The Maloka in the center of the accommodation offered the perfect space to browse the handmade artesanias, as well as enjoy a meal and meet local people and travellers alike. I would go back in a heartbeat.

Little piece of paradise in the middle of the Amazons. The place is absolutely amazing, full of animals all the time, but the best thing are the people who run it. The place is very nice, you have your own hut with private bathroom and balcony with a hammock facing a beautiful pond, where you can hear the famous Pirarucu fish jumping and see a baby cayman (you don't have to go further or buy a tour to see them). It is quite comfortable. I loved the hosts, Charlie, his wife and their children. They were all lovely, kind, helpful. Also, I loved that we could have genuine conversations with them, so you make a connection with the local people. They were also flexible to change my date and leave my luggage, when I went to stay the night within the jungle.

Great location downtown Many plants and birds everywhere Mosquito nets for the beds. 2nd floor has some hammock chairs and beds for a great sunset view. Friendly staff. Good basic breakfast. They have excursions.
