Family run and so friendly and safe. Loved the garden & inside outside vibe. The area is gorgeous and has great shops & restaurants. Breakfast is huge, but you can tailor it to your needs. Poor dad went from trying to feed me everything to 2 perfectly boiled eggs. A great base in San Jose and a very nice neighbourhood.

The location was excellent! The staff was very kind. Even when we left the hotel at 6 AM, they gave us something to eat (it was the included breakfast, but it officially started at 7 AM). The sandwiches were not that good, but the attention was good.

The hotel is on a busy main road so felt safe as against many reviews that showcased this area as unsafe. Many tourist attractions like Gold Museum, National Theatre, National Park, National Museum are within 1-2 km of walking range so I did not have to hire a taxi. Great rooms, ours led to the pool area.sone rooms were more secluded.very comfortable beds, beautiful views from the lovely warm pool. Lovely breakfast. Great for group family holidays . Very accommodating staff, we had our own massive family breakfast table every morning.
