Beautiful grounds, alot of attention to detail in the plantings, walkways, etc. Quaint cabins. The caretaker brought us firewood and built a fire for us in the fireplace. Quite a nice touch.

Our hosts (Alejandra, Ken and Daniel) were lovely, we felt extremely welcome and they helped us organize activities and excursions, and they gave us advice on car rentals before we arrived. In general, the level of hospitality was excellent and we felt very welcome and taken care of. The multi-course breakfast was large and delicious, with an amazing view and extremely attentive service. The gardens and the rest of the property were a masterpiece and we spent some time exploring and hanging out on a hammock next to the woods, which was very peaceful.

We were very happy to stay at this lovely small hotel with a beautiful garden and friendly hosts 🌸 The spacious, well-kept garden is wonderful, with funny rabbits freely hopping around🥰 Everything is very clean, and the breakfast and dinner were delicious. I loved the fact that’s it’s a resort but it’s in the nature and not crowded, like a boutique resort. Wonderful room, amazing view, nice environment and atmosphere. Good breakfast with a view. You can hike to waterfalls from the hotel, inside the resort ! And there is a little farm with animals, my child loved it. Not far away from the airport so that’s very convenient when we arrive/depart from San Jose and there are plenty of things to do around, including visiting the volcan Poas.

This hotel is a heaven on earth. I would definitely recommend it if you are in the area. The rooms are spacious and quite. Breakfast was great but you should also try their dinner menu - everything we tried was delicious. There are many areas in the property where you can enjoy the views and nature. Try their own walking trails on the property!

One of the best hotels in the area to both relax and be close to La Poas vulcano. The surrounding area is very beautiful, hotel has 2 view points on its terriotory (2nd is near the breakfast area), a lot of flowers and just in general well maintained lawns and decorations. The room also an interesting design that I liked. It even has de-humidifier which is very useful as it can get quite humid depending on the time of the year. I had good tasty breakfast. And seperate mention for the fluffy white dog which looks like a soft cloud and is very friendly! I have stayed for only 1 night but I think that would be a good place to relax for several nights while visiting attractions in the area.

Great place to stay when flying in or out of San Jose. Breakfast is included and so is the shuttle which was wonderful. We left early before the restaurant opened so they had a box breakfast and hot coffee and tea for us waiting with the shuttle! Excellent stay.

Interesting place, a perfect point to start a visit to the Volcano Poás, outstanding view from the room, very kind and helpful staff and very good food in the restaurant. Good prices. Little complaint: it was quite cold inside during the night.
