The location was wonderful, the treehouse was very nice, fauna & flora was amazing (beautiful birds, one could just observe the monkeys & coatis from the treehouse), the restaurant and service was excellent. I highly recommend the lodge.

The staff was super friendly. The food at the restaurant was some of the best we had in CR. Hugo was a great tour guide, very knowledgeable. We saw incredible birds (boat-billed herons, green parrots, aras, and many more) and took a boat trip to the border of Nicaragua. On the way, we even saw a crocodile mother with 4 tiny babies.

Great place to stay! Very quiet with nice views from the private deck. Staff was very friendly and helpful. Also the tour on the river was amazing. Can definitely recommend to go here if you want to experience Costa Rican nature away from the crowds.

perfect location at the jungle. good food as buffet. children are welcome too. reasonable prices considering to be in the middle of nowhere. tours were nice too, can recommend the night walk and caiman tour, haven’t done anything else. free Kanu at the lagoon. access to the lodge is not as difficult than thought. route 205 is fully sealed and last but unsealed but manageable by car.

A home away from home, run by a super friendly family. We interacted with Alan the most and he showed us around town where we spotted some birds and ate some cocoa fruit. He took us on a night walk (extra charge) where we saw a ton of frogs and a tarantula. The food was really good... some of the best we had on our Costa Rica trip. It surpassed what we got in a fancy place in La Fortuna. Highly recommend staying here for a night or two.
