This is a simple hotel in a northern suburb of San Jose with off-street parking. The owner is responsive and professional, the room was quiet at night (less so during the day) and the bed comfortable. I was able to do some work in the lounge area.

The hotel saved me after booking.com had lost my reservation in another hotel. My room didn't have windows but during my stay, I used to leave for trips early in the morning and return back in the evening. Actually, the absence of windows made it a very quiet room. The staff was very friendly, helpful and professional.

very cozy place. the interior feels almost maze-like with little courtyards full of tropical plants and odd-but-charming decor. room was nice aside from not having a proper reading lamp. the breakfast buffet was one of the best I've ever had, at any hotel – lots of things to choose from both local cr foods and the usual toast etc. the little restaurant next door also had some good dinner options.

This hotel really exceeded our expectations! It is a lovely old building and feels like you are in an art and history museum when you walk around the corridors. The room was great - very spacious with a spa bath and well lit with an interesting configuration. We wish we could have stayed longer!

The hotel was very clean, and the beds were very comfortable. The room itself was extremely spacious too. They left little shampoo/conditioner samples with the towels which was a nice touch. The staff were very friendly and helpful, helping us carry our big bags up the steps. The neighbourhood where the hotel is located is very quiet too so you get a good night's sleep.
