The owners were having a pool built at Miniapartemento el Guanacaste, so we took up their offer of staying at their other property, Casa Brisa Marina (also on booking.com), to which these comments relate. Diego had very good English and was exceptionally helpful. I had very good WhatsApp communication with him and he made useful suggestions about things to do. The property was in a good location for exploring the coast - we particularly liked Playa Conchal, Playa Junquillal and the boardwalk to Playa Avellanas. Casa Brisa Marina has 3 double bedrooms and 2 bathrooms. Plentiful supply of hot water for showers. Well equipped kitchen - particularly liked the 2 ring induction hob. Unfortunately the oven wasn't working while we were there. Good outdoor seating. Bed was comfortable. Lots of electrical sockets.

Muchas gracias to the owners from Hotel Casa Carlota. The Hotel is near from Tamarindo, but you may be need a car to go there. For us it was perfect far away from the trouble. But its close to a supermarket. The room was very clean and we had enough space. You also have a fridge and a coffeemachine. We used the kitchen outdoor in the cooking area for the breakfast. There‘s also a swimmingpool, which was cleaned everyday. The owners are very friendly and they also give us good suggestions. The last two days of our vacation, before flying to Liberia, we stayed at this beautiful, newly built hotel. It was impeccably clean, and the rooms were well-finished and welcoming. The owners were fantastic, friendly, and truly very nice. They helped us with advice on both local beaches and restaurants. Breakfast was freshly cooked with fresh ingredients.
