Makanda delivers everything that you might expect and possibly a little bit more. It's pure luxury and the service is sublime. The swimming pool is fantastic and we loved private the beach area. The room are very beautiful. The restaurant is outstanding.

Wonderful hotel. Convenient with a free shuttle to the beach and national park. Breakfast is absolutely outstanding, and all the staff amazing! We also had dinner two nights and loved it. Would love to return anytime.

We loved our stay here! The staff was fantastic and very accommodating. The location was great - very close to Manuel Antonio and Quepos. We saw lots of wildlife on the property (toucans, parrots, iguanas, monkeys). Beautiful and relaxing stay!

The hostel itself is very nice, lots of places to hangout during the day. We enjoyed the pool a lot. I also liked the window between the hostel and the restaurant, it was very convenient.
