An amazing beautiful mountain house, close to Vulcan Poás. Very comfortable beds and we enjoyed relaxing in the lounge with a fire going in the fireplace. Also loved having coffee in the rocking deck chairs on the terrace, overlooking the garden with misty mountains behind.

Definitely all. Before arrive you recieve all necessary details to easily find the place. The spend the night in the house like that is extraordinery experiance. Land lady Cristina is absolutely awesome person who shows you their farm next morning. To Volcano Poas it takes 45min, if you have 4x4 than 20min.

The place was so cozy, so well equipped, very modern. Absolutely lovely! We didn't meet the host but he was very attentive through WhatsApp. I recommend if you're staying in this area.

It is set in the mountains so it really feels like you are away from the world and completely in nature. The facilities were great and had everything we needed. We even explored the trail down to the picnic site and river (it was dry so we could explore a lot). And we loved it! The top balcony is also super nice. I loved that my dog was allowed!! The hosts were super friendly and accommodating

The Villazul property has a lovely view of the valley and we really enjoyed the upstairs section of the tiny house which is where the beds are located. The lower part of the tiny house is jam-packed with furniture, so felt hard to move around in. There was a spa in front of our place, but we had no idea how to use it and it didn't appear to be filled with water anyway. One thing to note - the location is certainly remote and the wind that barrels down off the side of the volcano is incredibly strong and relentless. It was probably our most expensive accommodation in Costa Rica and for us personally, the 'bang for the buck' just wasn't quite there unfortunately.

We loved our stay here and wished we were able to stay for longer. The cabin was beautifully rustic but very clean and had everything we needed. It was very quiet and we had a lovely time exploring the little ravine next to the cabin in the morning. We also booked really last minute and the owners managed to get the place ready in time.

The cabina is in a nice quiet neighborhood. Great to meet and talk with the host about the property and his coffee growing efforts. So peaceful and relaxing there. Also, a steep paved shortcut straight up the mountain from the cabin to the Poas Volcano entrance.

Kevin and Tannia, the hosts were extremely friendly and helpful. We arrived in the late evening. Tannia drove us to the nearby grocery store to buy few essentials. The bungalow was facing tropical forest and had mountain view. The hotel is surrounded by a lot of nature and feel very relaxing. An exceptional place to enjoy the quite place. The facilities are extremely good and comfortable. Breakfast was delicious with great view over looking the mountains. I recommend the hotel for the other guests and families.
