Markus was a great host, which is not a given in Costa Rica. The bungalow was clean, the kitchen well equipped, the beds large. I would recommend ordering dinner in addition to breakfast. The whole place is located in the jungle where you can take a great hike to the waterfalls where no one else will disturb you. So you can go for a short trip here or just relax by the pool which is big enough for swimming. One of our best accommodations in Costa Rica and we would love to come back.

Great place to relax after a fishing day or beach day away from the Noise around donw-town Quepos y Manuel Antonio.. Large and confortable rooms and bathrooms , absolutely above and beyond our expectations ,we highly recommend this rental. Villa is located in remote location which is perfect for the people who loves privacy, enjoying being alone without neighbours and getting tanned naked. We had lovely stay here our son enjoyed swimming pool every day its just pure nature around you very relaxing atmosphere, property is very clean has all. Necessary equipment fridge freezer, washing machine, coffee machine,AC,good Internet connection, TV pan's and pots, disches so you can easily self cater highly recommended, owner is very friendly and helpful really was a pleasure to stay here thank you pura vida😉

This hotel was the true gem of our trip to Costa Rica! Our plans were flexible and we decided to stay again in Manuel Antonio and this is when we found out about Mountain Top Hotel, which has THE BEST price-benefit ratio The beds are suuuuuuper comfortable, the views are breathtaking, the fact that you have a tour included is mind-blowing and they also have a really good breakfast! We did our tour with Jario, who was super nice, could speak very good Portuguese and who thought us A LOT about both fauna and flora of the area. We were able to spot quite a lot of wildlife (including the black and green poisonous frog!), which was the cherry on the top.

We enjoyed everything! Staff was great, kind and really helpful. The room, the hotel itself was gorgeous. We saw more animals in the hotel’s surrounding than in Manuel Antonio. Pool area chic and relaxing.
