I travel a lot and spend a long time away from home, so cleanliness, comfort, and beauty around me are very important. I found all of this at La Tigra Mountain House. The beds are wide, the mattresses are comfortable. The hostess of the house is very attentive and caring. And I would like to highlight the view separately. It's fantastic!!! The Platanar and Porvenir volcanoes are visible as if in the palm of your hand. Sunrises, clouds running at eye level, and hovering birds attract and compel you to stop and enjoy life. In the morning, I tried to exercise, but it smoothly transitioned into meditation... As they say, it's better to see once than hear a hundred times!! Come and see for yourself. I recommend it...

A very special experience to sleep in the bungalow, we took good use of the Jacuzzi and on our last day we were able to see a sloth, just 20 meters away from us! We were signed by José, very thankful for that and what a lovely host!

Location, staff and all facilities are really great. We were on our honeymoon and they upgraded us to our own lodge. Pool was nice, hike was really cool and the food was really delicious. We also saw a baby sloth just metres away from the reception which they showed us uppn arrival. All in all a visit worth remembering, thanks again!

The location is amazing, your own hire car is highly recommended. The resort is a unique nature experience with passionate welcoming staff. The hot springs, river, both restaurants, guided walks were all amazing. Only regret is not staying for 4 nights instead of two.

This was my best stay in Costa Rica so far. The property is so beautiful and you really feel immersed in nature. Giovanni and Vanessa were excellent hosts and took great care of me. Giovanni took me on a night walk after dinner which was a real highlight - we saw sloths after just a few meters! Also frogs, turtles, and a firefly-type beetle that I had no idea even existed. The restaurant / bar has a great vibe and the food was delicious. Would definitely go back.

Everything was perfect. Marci and Fabio are the best hosts ever. The local breakfast was everyday so good! We loved the nighttour, the view from the house in the beautiful garden. The birdwatching. Well we loved our stay at Birds & breakfast and hope to come back!
