The location is good, at the edge of a peaceful and friendly village means no noises at night. Also not far from Fogo viewpoint (20min drive). Bus station 30sec walking, supermarket and restaurant 10sec as both are available directly in / at the house. The owner is super friendly and is easily available via booking or WhatsApp. The room is big, with a big comfy bed and enough plugs to charge your stuff. There is a small balcony, and the bathroom has a good shower with hot water. Everything is clean and the WiFi works great. Secured parking is also available. There is a nice terrace with a pool and great views. I really liked my stay here and can totally recommend this place.

The lodges were lovely in a calm environment . The bar and Restaurant served us a delicous breakfast and also the dinner choises were perfect! Very helpfull staff and friendly owners.

This was the best and by the way also the cheapest accommodation at CV. Basic but very nice and clean room with running water and electricity. WiFi was strong and very well working in the dining area, we could also catch a weaker signal in our room. There was always a plenty of food. Breakfast is included and makes a perfect start of the day. Dinner is extra, it’s cheap and really good. The staff is unbelievably helpful and can help to arrange the transportation, the guide and anything else.

Reasonable price, clean room and very welcoming and helpful host Rose. Basic but decent breakfast (I ask it to serve at 6am before the hiking Fogo, and it was there exactly at time). The wifi is available outside the house, 20 metres in front of the hotel, close to the restaurant

the location is unbeatable! right in the crater. the manager and staff are really lovely and go out of their way to provide information. food is great too. make sure to try the banana cake.

The location is perfect. Right at the start for the hike to Fogo. The location in booking is (as of today) not correct, its right in the center of the village. But the owners are superfriendly and can send you the details via WhatsApp. I arrived late because I was hiking till sunset and he waited outside on the street, and after check in I got a really delicious meal. The room has 3 comfy beds, enough plugs to charge and extra blankets. The bathroom is modern and has a shower (unlucky only with cold water). In the main building there are tables and chairs and a small bar. There is beer, wine, softdrinks, water.... Everything is clean and the WiFi works great. Breakfast is included, but I didn't use it as I was out hiking. From the house you have perfect views of Fogo. I can really recommend this place.

One of the most relaxing places I have ever stayed, great value for money. Dani and his family prepared great food everyday, very very welcoming and friendly atmosphere. Great recommendations concerning the surrounding area and the volcano. They offer all kind of tours for different levels of experience without being too pushy for it, so if you want to do a hike on your own, you still get the same great recommendations. Overall just a great place to spend your time, very relaxing.

What a lovely family! Booked it last minute and didn't expect much. But got an excellent place to stay! It is clean and cosy place for very good price. Good location as well. I even had the view to volcano through my window.

Sonia is a brilliant host and makes you feel at home right from the start. She connected me with a guide for hike up the volcano. The breakfast pastry, the desserts were really nice. And Ze drove me from and to the aerodrome and helped bridging the language barrier.
