Beautiful traditional stone village! Great tavern nearby with local food, the lamb chops at Kamares tavern were delicious. Nice traditional village.
Nice traditional village. I would recommend to visit it on Easter to experience the traditions of Cyprus. Loved the church and walking around the village. We saw the ILOVELOFOU sign and the school. We loved the Taverna and very friendly owners of these family run apartments. Lofu is a beautiful mountain village very close and easily accessible for Limassol and up into Troodos. The trip from Latakia airport was very straight forward too. It is a fascinating area of Cyprus full of history and the country side is breathtaking. All the local people we met were so helpful and friendly. It has character with most of the houses restored using original material. Oinoessa Traditional Boutique Guest Houses are carefully decorated but also fully equipped to allow for a comfortable stay. The breakfast baskets are full of fresh local produce (eggs, lountza, halloumi, tomatoes, cucumbers, fruit, bread etc.) that make a hearty breakfast.
