Beautiful traditional stone village! Great tavern nearby with local food, the lamb chops at Kamares tavern were delicious. Nice traditional village.
Nice traditional village. I would recommend to visit it on Easter to experience the traditions of Cyprus. Loved the church and walking around the village. We saw the ILOVELOFOU sign and the school. We loved the Taverna and very friendly owners of these family run apartments. Lofu is a beautiful mountain village very close and easily accessible for Limassol and up into Troodos. The trip from Latakia airport was very straight forward too. It is a fascinating area of Cyprus full of history and the country side is breathtaking. All the local people we met were so helpful and friendly. Xenios is an exceptional, friendly and helpful host. We didn't miss anything. He took the time to walk with us through the village and explain the history and buildings. The fridge was well stocked for a big breakfast, and a home-baked cake and a bottle of wine were also provided for us - we didn't expect that! This was our first time in Palazzino suites. The suite was done to a high speck and felt welcoming. It was beautifully decorated and not over the top. Furnishings and bed are very comfortable, excellent internet connection and a smart tv to connect to apps e.g. Netflix etc. The make it yourself breakfast was lovely and more than you need.
