It is a town with an industrial atmosphere, cut in two halves with a frequented motorway. Lots of old delapidated factory buildings. There are some nice places, like the main squares of Frýdek and Místek or the park by the river Ostravice, but the general feeling is not very inspiring. The best thing is the short distance to the beautiful Beskydy mountains, which are easily accessible by bus, train or car. Our room was upgraded to better one which had a stunning bathroom with bathtub and open shower separated by a glass wall with king bed, I really recommend booking that apartment. The breakfast was delicious and the sweets displayed in the cabinet in the breakfast room are worth trying. So was restaurant food, the best pork ribs I've had. The restaurant seems to be a popular place among locals. Hotel is located next to a big shopping mall with many shops to explore.Guest review bygronkiPoland
