Zámek Křtiny was home and a place of shelter to my mother and her school mates during WW II - a lot more basic back then! So returning to this place after 80 years was fraught with memories for her, but we so much appreciate the understanding and amicableness of the staff in the present-day hotel (and special thanks go to Tereza). Yet even without this background, the hotel (at just 20 km from Brno) would make a very pleasant base to explore the Moravian Karst with its many caves and wooded hills – a perfect autumn getaway. The large pilgrimage church that adjoins the hotel and the pretty gardens are additional attractions. The hotel is tastefully furnished throughout (bedrooms, restaurant, conference rooms) and all rooms were spotlessly clean and well heated. Great views from the terrace. We also enjoyed two excellent dinners in the hotel's restaurant.

Great hotel on easy transport route. We stayed five nights and The staff were helpful and friendly the whole time . There is a restaurant attached to hotel which do great food at great prices and the breakfast available has a great choice of food for all. The rooms were great and the bathroom and shower were clean and modern . Overall a great stay and would definetly stay here again if back in Brno .
