Parking was easy outside the hotel. The receptionist was warm, friendly and efficient. My room was spotlessly clean with brilliant white, smoothly ironed quilt cover and soft pillow on a comfy bed. To have a free to use indoor, as well as outdoor swimming pool and lovely sauna to use most of the day at a reasonably priced hotel is excellent. The dining room is large and attractive and the buffet breakfast is the best I have ever had outside of major 4 star hotels in southern europe, with smartly dressed staff who regularly replenished the food, drink, crockery and cutlery. Good and plentiful coffee plus 8 different black, fruit and herbal teas. I was so pleased I had to thank the staff. This might seem like a review by the hotel owner, but it is actually from a thankful guest from the North of England who cannot wait to stay at the Central Wellness Hotel again, so that is at least one satisfied guest.

I was there on business and for one night, so your questions: "Which places did you like the most? Which restaurants did you visit? What is your experience with transportation in Klatovy? What activities do you recommend to other guests who will also come here on their own?" do not make sense in my case.

The history of Klatovy dates back to the 13th century, so...

The history of Klatovy dates back to the 13th century, so there are many historical monuments and interesting places to see. The most interesting are the catacombs under the Jesuit church and the black tower with a clock mechanism. There is also a historic pharmacy, which really excited us. Be sure to wait for the guided tour, because it is worth it.

The royal town of Klatovy offers a number of "delicacies" for history lovers. Klatovy is actually the gateway to Šumava, where beautiful, often still virgin nature combines with reminders of historical events and twists that took place here in distant, but also recent history.

A smaller town with many sights, very friendly people, many cafes and plenty of restaurants. You can walk everywhere. The train station is a little further from the center. The catacombs, the U jednorožce pharmacy and the churches are definitely worth it.

Beautiful city, especially the historical center.

Beautiful city, especially the historical center. You can't miss a visit to the underground catacombs, the Black Tower and the pharmacy U Bílého jednorožce. There are many other historical monuments and the beautiful nature of Šumava in the vicinity of Klatovy, all suitable for day trips and easily accessible by car. I can recommend the Piccolo pizzeria on Náměstí Míru for an evening meal.

The room was good, spacious, clean, comfortable. The hostess was friendly enough. She spoke only Czech but using a translate ap on her phone all was fine. A very nice extensive park about 15 minutes walk; about the only thing Klatovy is worth visiting for.

Few kilometres outside of the city (not easy walkable). Nice hotel room, rolling shutters and airco available. Roadside a litte noisy, not really disturbant. Nice restaurant downstairs.
