This is a rural area and this is a very basic house. However. It is very clean. The beds are so very comfortable. We slept very very well. Although we didn’t cook we did use the kitchen and it was equiped for our purposes. The bathroom was clean and the shower had amazing strong pressure and unlimited hot water. There is also a washing machine. We enjoyed sitting outside as there is a picnic table and umbrella. The host was lovely. She met us showed us through. Accommodated our extra guest with no questions. The host gave restaurant recommendations and was very accessible. The house is a ten minute walk to the lake. There’s a general shop nearby and a bar. This suited us perfectly to be able to watch rowing events at the lake. We will definitely stay again.

My room was very well equipped - kettle, sink, fridge, bath, verandah - and overlooked a fishpond. Their advertising says they are particularly welcoming to two-wheeled visitors, though I didn't see any. In fact most of the other guests were local workmen, so I got the impression that they don't get many foreigners. The restaurant serves good plain Czech cooking.
