We had to travel a lot, so we didn't use the breakfast service, but the lunch dishes are delicious. We are very grateful to the staff for the opportunity to have a stress-free departure day and strict rules to move out at 10:00 or 11:00. We just left the key in the post box on our way out at 11:30 as it was much more convenient for us on our route to another city and the staff didn't see a problem with it. During the trip, such extra minutes and the attitude of the staff encourage you to return to this hotel.

It was sich an amazing stay! Very nicehotel and warm welcoming staff! We loved the nice wlecome to every breakfast and positive and kind attitude to us at any point of our stay! The place and room is very nice and clean! The place is in the centre of the town walking dostance to lake and wrll located for nearby trips to mountains (we visited via ferratas). Highly recommended!

I had a very nice stay, the location is excellent with private parking off the street, I was offered vegan options for breakfast and in general everyone was really nice and welcoming. I used Karel IV as a base for visiting my friend and her family and I was very cozy here. Turnov and surrounds are truly beautiful, so it makes sense for me to come back and enjoy trips with my friend and her family. I will happily stay in Karel IV again.

It was beautiful there and there is nothing to fault at all, cleanliness. friendliness. private beautiful garden with barbecue facilities wherever we wanted, a short walk to the water for sightseeing, it was great, I can only recommend it. If you choose this guesthouse, you will not go wrong.

We liked the socialist car museum the most.

We liked the socialist car museum the most. A mini waterfall in the forest, not far from the guesthouse. Traffic was quite heavy, like everywhere these days. Next time I will go out of season, because there were too many people everywhere. We didn't get to Kost Castle, the parking lot was closed due to great interest.

Good accessibility for shopping in Železný Brod, there are no shopping options in the village except for the Bzi farm. We recommend the buffet in Malá Skála for a snack. Since this is a main road, there is quite a bit of traffic on the road, including freight traffic, but it does not affect the accommodation (we had windows overlooking the garden). Many destinations for trips in the area.

A good starting point for trips to the Bohemian Paradise, we managed to visit everything we planned. The rock towns of Hruboskalsko and Prachovské Skály are nearby. Vranov Castle in the nearby village of Mala Skála is stunning. And a must-see is the trail through the Jizera River Valley – Riegrova Cestá.

There are many monuments and hiking opportunities in the...

There are many monuments and hiking opportunities in the area, so you won't get bored. If you don't want to walk, you can reach many other interesting places by car. All larger cities are within 25 km, where everyone can choose what interests them. I'm definitely going to come back. Really beautiful surroundings and nature. I recommend Kost Castle, Trosky and the nearby Dětenice - Medieval Tavern.
