As non German speaking guests with very little knowledge of the region we were unsure how our stay would go but we had a great time meeting interesting people and learning a little about the area and the wine Our room was large and comfortable, quiet and airy, and spotlessly clean. We had a well equipped separate kitchen area with a dining room table in it, as well as a light bathroom with a shower There is a supermarket and bakery close by so we could prepare a meal for the evenings without difficulty too. The breakfast was simple and fresh and we enjoyed joining other guests at a long refectory dining room table. It was a bonus to be offered eggs in addition to a plate of fresh fruit and a platter of meats and cheeses with breads, yoghurt and coffee by the lovely team of people. who looked after us for the meal. The garden and outside areas are comfortable and guests are invited to use them which is lovely and Axel and Ute, together with their son, Heinrich, made us feel relaxed straight away. They are also totally professional and obviously run a "good ship" both in the winery and in the accommodation.

This is my second time at the hotel and I even recommended it to a bunch of friends. Very clean. Nice breakfast and polite staff. Parking on the Weinstube itself is limited, but there is a large public parking just round the corner that is inexpensive. The sales store for winemaker Georg Brauer is 50 m from the Weinstube. Great place
