I have stayed in quite a few hotels in Badenweiler over the years. This was my first stay at Villa Rosenhof and definitely the best hotel in Badenweiler for me. It was small and charming, beautifully furnished, the owners are delightful and attentive, the services, especially the breakfast, wonderful and excellent value for money. I shall be returning for sure.

Beautiful hotel at a gorgeous location. The rooms are super comfortable and the staff are very welcoming! We only stayed one night travelling to/from Italy but this hotel and the town Badenweiler are absolutely worth a longer stay.

Our Room was spacious , clean and a lovey view. We had 6 supercars with us they had reserved the car parking for us , the restaurant was excellent. Location great and staff wonderful.

Beautiful location. We loved the rooms with a charming balcony overlooking the peaceful hills & valley. The beds very confrontable. We had both dinner and breakfast at the hotel, and it was very good. They have an honor bar where you can get drinks. Take what you would like and write down your room number. It was convenient so we did not need to run into town to get anything. Conveniently located near the therme - walk or short drive there.

    It's a lovely small Spa town with a long history back to the...

    It's a lovely small Spa town with a long history back to the Roman times, very quiet and peaceful - no wonder that some famous politicians and artists like the Nehru family, S. Aleichem or A. Chekchov stayed here to find cure for their health problems. Besides a visit to the Cassiopeia Therme I also would recommend to spend some time in the Museum for Literatur ("Tschechow-Salon") which is right next to the Therme. It provides an overview of poets and writers who stayed in Badenweiler.

    Not suitable for children.

    Not suitable for children. The first day I asked to heat some water for the baby, they gave me hot water for tea, which I never used, but paid for. One tip, avoid eating in restaurants, very poor quality of food, and prices that are absurd compared to quality of food, long waiting times (we waited for 1 hour for food to arrive). Really poor breakfast, in some 2-star hotels you eat better.

    We ended up in Badenweiller quite by accident.

    We ended up in Badenweiller quite by accident. The hotel that we had booked for our overnight stop from Italy to the UK........did not meet out expectations on our journey to Italy 2 weeks before. So we cancelled and happened upon a beautiful hotel in Badenweiller. This little town itself was breathtaking. Beautiful views and beautiful restaurants. Everyone was lovely and we will definately be returning. We stayed at the Hotel Markgräfler Hof and ate at the Ratskeller restaurant, where the food was delicious. Would highly recommend.
