The location was unusual being slightly outside the town on the edge of an industrial estate but it felt wonderfully rural with the horses opposite! Guests are treated to fresh eggs each day which they can use and the owner really took care of the property. It was so clean and he had thought of so many things! It was brilliant

Claudia, her son and the amenities in the room were superb! When Claudia found out we were traveling by train, she offered to pick us up and drive us to the guesthouse. The room itself is actually an entire apartment/flat complete with kitchen, laundry, living room as well as the bedroom. The only hesitation is that you are sharing the common areas with another guest. This is mitigated by the fact we never saw him and barely heard him at all.

    Nice breakfast. Nice room. The hotel had a nice lounge area with snacks and drinks for sale, and a microwave to heat own stuff. Checkin was easy with the keybox and code. The hotel provided some usefull information on a big white board with relevant info, including some restaurant tips.

    We loved this hotel. The staff were lovely. The room was spacious, clean, comfortable and a great location. Close to the train station and main town. It has been very warm weather and our room had a fan which was appreciated as many hotels do not have them. Breakfast was very good too.
