Very clean and had everything you could think off! I went with a friend on a motor trip and it was even possible to park our motors in a safe en secluded place. Earlier check in was also no problem.

The location was ideal for us en-route back to Rotterdam coming from Italy. We loved the lakeside setting and the brilliant children's play park behind was an added bonus for us! The staff were very welcoming and helpful, the family room we had was a great size, clean and well presented. We also enjoyed the breakfast and thought our stay was very good value. We will try to book again for our next European road trip!

There is nothing in Ettringen.

There is nothing in Ettringen. On a Saturday night in May we were surprised to find that the only food available was from a takeaway Pizza place. The restaurant and both pubs in the village were shut! Fortunately Mayen is only 4 miles away but even then a lot of restaurants were closed.

From Ettringen, you can take several hikes on foot.

From Ettringen, you can take several hikes on foot. Mayen is 4 km away and offers a castle with a museum and a slate mine. Those who love or are interested in old quarries will find plenty to explore. Maria Laach with Lake Laach is just a few kilometers away, as are Bürresheim Castle and Eltz Castle. Koblenz and the Moselle or Rhine rivers are easily accessible.

The hotel's location was quiet and beautiful, and the hospitality was excellent. However, the lack of restaurants or shops in the immediate vicinity was a drawback. The nearest town was also only accessible by car. Cycling tours directly from the hotel were limited.

The cleanliness, the decoration, it had everything necessary to feel at home, the double bed was comfortable and spacious, the bathroom was large, and there was a magnificent terrace. The only thing I liked least was the sofa bed, which was only suitable for teenagers, but it met my expectations.

The area around Ettringen offers many (easy and challenging) "dream trails" through the volcanic Eifel region, visits to basalt caves, and the largest cold-water geyser. In addition, city tours with shopping opportunities are also possible.

I really liked the location, the area is beautiful, the hotel itself included. The room we had has a nice and rustic view. Good beds and a good bathroom, everything was decent, nothing to complain about. Breakfast is very good, and the hosts are very friendly. Definitely recommended!

Wonderful peaceful location nestled in the valley with the sound of the stream in the background. Traditional style hotel, nicely finished interiors, bathroom was spotless! Great guest comms from the owners and super breakfast setting me up for the day ahead.

It was weird. We were the only guests in the entire hotel, there weren't even any cars in the parking lot. We packed up the same day, even the restaurant was closed.
