The access instructions were very clear and detailed which was much appreciated as I was arriving after midnight. The bathroom was newly and very tastefully renovated, the water pressure was fantastic, and the tap water tasted great. The room came with many towels which is ALWAYS appreciated, even for a solo traveller. The bed was comfy and well made, the linen was clean and comfortable. I simply can't believe how cheap it was. I stayed in a hostel on the same trip and they were basically the same price. Incredible value for money! If I am ever down that neck of the woods again I will gladly stay again. I've paid a lot more for similar or worse properties in the past. Thoroughly impressed!

Staff was very friendly. Room and bathroom were spacious and meticulously clean. The breakfast was exceptionally good containing a lot of fresh and tasty homemade food and produce from the area.

A lovely place and a good starting point for exploring the surrounding sights such as the cathedral, the castle gardens, etc. We had a very good meal at the Diepenbrock restaurant – highly recommended! Everything in town is within walking distance.
