The hotel is located in a quiet residential area, with parking outside. The hosts are very welcoming. The building is modern and we had the top floor family apartment with a balcony. It was all clean and attractive. We had a simple continental breakfast, which was delicious.

Ideal for a quick layover on a roadtrip. Rooms are functional, clean, solid. Staff were really friendly and helpful after we had a rough travel day and arrived at closing time. They also sorted out some administrative issue with the reservation smoothly.

Comfortable large room with good beds and a clean and good functioning bathroom. The room was located on a nice patio so you don’t hear any traffic. In the morning they served a very nice breakfast buffet. Also the staff was very kind and helpful.

Great stay, very neat and clean, and a large refrigerator. We didn't expect to actually get a complete stay with a kitchen, so funny! A friendly welcome, and the dinner was excellent. Slept well! We only stayed one night, a stopover on our way from Italy to the Netherlands. Best, Ebo, Noah, Milou, and Sabine

The triple room was fine.

The triple room was fine. The service wasn't very friendly, both at dinner and breakfast. Breakfast was meager, despite being a buffet. There was very little bread, no choice, only one Kaiser roll per person, and the scrambled eggs were gone. We were asked what time we wanted breakfast and expected the buffet to be full.

The place is in a beautiful location and very quiet.

The place is in a beautiful location and very quiet. It always depends on what you're looking for... a peaceful setting for relaxation, walks, cycling, or a lively atmosphere. For us, it was just an overnight stay and perfectly suited our needs. The hotel's restaurant is a great addition, and the staff and food there are very pleasant.

You can eat well there, enjoy wine tasting, take lovely walks, and everything is easily accessible. The hotel and surrounding area are very dog-friendly. Nearby, you'll find beautiful old half-timbered villages, the Rötteln castle ruins, numerous hiking trails, cycling routes, various museums, a bird park near Lörrach, etc. I wouldn't recommend going to Basel in extreme heat anymore.

Our stay there was very pleasant.

Our stay there was very pleasant. The staff was very friendly. Everything went smoothly. We will definitely go there again if we need accommodation in the area. Unfortunately, we didn't get a chance to try the restaurant because we didn't have time.

With one exception did we have a great stay at this hotel. Easy to check-in, comfortable room, great food in their own restaurant, and convenient location of the hotel. We can really recommend this hotel despite the less impressive breakfast.
