The hotel is located on the bank of the beautiful Scheweriner Lake. You cannot get a better location than this place in that region. Bad Kleine HBF is about 1.4 km from the property. The major attractions in Mecklenburg (such as Hamburg, Schewerin, Lubeck, Wismar, Rostock etc.) are easily accessible by train if you do not want drive to those places. Parking facility is right in front of the property and there is always enough space for any type of vehicle. There are two large supermarkets within 1.2 km from the hotel. The owners of the hotel live next to the property itself. They were very helpful when I reached them on their number. The room was regularly cleaned. I liked the view of the lake from the balcony which is accessible with the room key. Overall, I had a pleasant experience staying at Seehotel Bad Kleinen.

Wonderful Hotel Very convenient for us on the way from Lubeck to Munich( very close to the highway but in very calm and nice surroundings) Room is clean and spacious . Hotel full but no noise at all . Breakfast perfect . Staff super friendly. We will come back for longer stay for sure

Beautiful, quiet location, but the downside is that you have to drive about 15 km to go shopping. Fresh bread rolls are available at the campsite. The surroundings are ideal for hiking, cycling, or water sports (SUP, canoeing, surfing). For culture and nightlife, you'll need to go to Schwerin.

Although we love peace and quiet, it was too quiet for us...

Although we love peace and quiet, it was too quiet for us here, or to be more precise, there's nothing here. Apart from the lake, there are no amenities whatsoever. You have to drive about 10 km to get food; you can't eat or shop in this town itself.

Our destination was Schwerin, not Flessenow, so I can't comment on Flessenow itself. Without a car, the options are quite limited. Even though the location and natural surroundings are ideal for cycling, an e-bike is highly recommended.

It's a quiet little village by the lake, without shops, in a beautiful location. Schwerin and Wismar, both very beautiful old cities, are nearby. The only village road is currently being renovated, so the accommodation can only be reached via a detour. We really should have seen the holiday home from the outside, but unfortunately, that wasn't possible in this case.

The location near Lake Schwerin was quite nice.

The location near Lake Schwerin was quite nice. Unfortunately, that's about it. Getting groceries is quite difficult, and you really need a car. There aren't many walking paths either. I was mainly looking for accommodation near Schwerin Castle because I really wanted to see it. Otherwise, there's nothing worth seeing in the town itself.

We didn't stay in the town itself.

We didn't stay in the town itself. The lakeshore was very well maintained, and visitors seemed to respect the facilities. Trash was put in the containers. So the public beach was also clean during our visit. A peaceful and relaxed atmosphere.
