We really enjoyed our stay here. It is very comfortable and a great location for accessing Munich. The train station is across the road and you can be in the centre in about 30 minutes and the same line (S8) goes directly to Munich airport.. There are cafes, restaurants, and grocery stores all within walking distance. We liked the balcony - a great place to watch all the comings and goings. There was plenty of free parking.

This is a new and stylish hotel. The staff were friendly and helpful, and the breakfast rivalled 5-star hotels I have stayed in in the past. We arrived to the hotel earlier than we expected, and the receptionist allowed us to check in early since the room was ready! Since my wife is pregnant, this was like a really huge present after long trip to Munich. The room was clean and the service was the best i have seen in Germany so far.

The hotel is located near the highway, so very convenient for those who travel by car and want to stop overnight. The rooms (including the bathroom) are small but clean and well equipped. Very good Wi-Fi. Proper breakfast. Friendly and helpful staff. The hotel is in an area of blocks, above a REWE store. I recommend the hotel, but only for an overnight stop.

A typical location on the outskirts of a major city. Several restaurants and an ice cream parlor are within walking distance. A good starting point for visiting several Bavarian lakes (by car) and the Alpine foothills, as well as the state capital, Munich.

We found some excellent restaurants, especially serving local cuisine. The surrounding area is rich in lakes (Ammersee, Wörthsee, Germeringer See, Pilsensee, Starberger See) and ideal for relaxation; a visit to Andechs Monastery is definitely worthwhile!

A small suburb.

A small suburb. My visit was too short and the occasion very sad. Hence the simple hotel, and actually no reason to complain. I can't give a rating for Germerung itself. Friends find it very pretty.

I was in Germering for a weekend class reunion.

I was in Germering for a weekend class reunion. The hotel's location was perfect for that; I could walk to the venue. I didn't see much else of the town, so I can't comment on anything else.

A lovely place that has everything you need, from good...

A lovely place that has everything you need, from good restaurants to many small shops, sometimes even a traditional corner store, petrol stations, a reasonably well-developed public transport network, and yet it's still quiet. You can go hiking in nature, and Munich isn't far away – only 20 minutes by bus. I would definitely come back.

Sometimes you have a great variety of choices in the breakfast but then they stay the same during your whole visit. In Hotel Amper you have every day here and there small changes, The personnel during breakfast was/is very attentive, like offering a children's chair before a family has even asked for it, Or helping my somewhat disabled sister with carrying her tray. Really friendly and helpful staff. They are a real asset of the hotel,

New, clean and silent apartment. Just a few steps from Germering S8 train station that is 55 minutes from Munich airport and about 30 minutes from Marienplatz. Staff were very kind.
