A very nicely situated, furnished, and organised guest house. The staff were friendly and the (bath)room was nice. The single bed is also fine for me, given the reduced price. Breakfast in the morning was well prepared, though only starts at 08:00 on the weekends.

very nice rural, family run hotel. As custom in Germany, the hotel restaurant was closed on Mondays. So I could not try the food. Breakfast with fresh bread and rolls from a local bakery was a nice treat. There are plenty of parking lots on the property and around. The family members were all very friendly and helpful.

Had an amazing stay at this hotel! The location couldn’t be better—right in the heart of the city, super easy to get around and explore. The room was clean, comfy, and had everything I needed. Staff were super friendly and helpful throughout my stay. Great place to relax for a stopover. Would definitely book again!

I had a great steak on my first evening there, it was very good indeed. Very convenient location 5 mins walk to Farhnau Station for trains into Schopfheim, Lorrach and Basel. All 5 breakfasts were very good - big selection, suiting all tastes. Staff are very helpful.

    It’s a great hotel. Very comfortable with attentive staff. Good dinner and breakfast. We walked up the hill from the village, along a track on the right as the houses finish - a gentle climb up to the crest and a view into Switzerland. Then back via the ski drag lift top to Gersbach - 1.5 hours of alpine meadows and skylarks. Descent is by a steep road back to hotel. A great short walk.

    Wonderful family run hotel in a small village. Very relaxed atmosphere in a wonderful location. Excellent restaurant with a great choice of meals for all tastes. The owners and staff couldn't do enough to make the stay as enjoyable as possible.
