The most friendly and helpful staff you'll ever meet. I was delayed by 1 day due to weather conditions. They let me cancel that night with no problem at all. The food in their restaurant is fantastic. It feels so homely; warm, cosy, and great service. I highly recommend this hotel

What a most lovely place to stay. The owners were so very friendly and welcoming. We paid for the breakfast in the morning and it was absolutely superb. Our hosts were able to advise of places to eat locally and how to get into "town" on the tram which is less than a 5 minute walk away. The place is an oasis in a quite built up area and we would certainly return again and explore more as we only had the one night as we were travelling from one place to another on the way home. Just be mindful using a sat nav that it is possible to miss the entrance to the car park which is understated (in a nice way).

Lovely friendly staff and beautiful rooms great size too was very pleasantly surprised. The restaurant also did lovely meals on the menu with plenty of choice and very tasty food.

The reception is friendly. The receptionist also speaks English. There is a backyard, so one can enjoy the drink while communicating with other guests. The location is near the bus station, less than five minutes by foot, and the river.

I was amazed by the professional attitude of the lady at reception. She was very friendly, knowledgeble and representative. She gave us all needed tips and tricks to maximize enjoyment of our stay in Saarbrücken. She showed that hospitality is not a skill that everyone can learn, but she proved with her actions that hospitality is a spirit, you need to be born for.

The room is a good size with a big window and glass door onto a nice little balcony with a chair. Two single beds pushed together with two (small) single duvets! Bed was comfortable enough; slept well. Tele. Some of the room looks updated. The rest looks outdated. The 1970’s glass & brass lamp is ‘retro’ at best! Small things like this. The shower room and toilet has been refurbished to a high standard. Big glass shower cubicle with two headed shower. The second shower head on the side wall is in the way! Funky sink and impressive mirror and radiator. Everything very smart with stupid 1970’s plastic hairdryer! Why? Toiletries and towels. Plenty of hot water. Downstairs is a bar and restaurant. The receptionist/bar girl/waitress was wonderful. Very pleasant and helpful. The soups were lovely. The steak with pepper sauce too salty by far; but good portions. Krombacher beer if you interested. Breakfast was very good. Plenty of it at a good price. Gherkins!
