The facilities are excellent, including comfortable rooms, ample parking, a very good breakfast, and a convenient laundry service. Communication with the hotel staff was smooth and efficient, adding to the overall pleasant experience. The hotel also features a nice pool area, perfect for kids to enjoy. breakfast perfect although I did not manage to visit the buffet but my husband brought us some to eat because we have a disabled person with us so could not leave him alone and the room is not really that close to the breakfast area.

I really felt at home as soon as I met the owners, who welcomed me and gifted me a 'welcome dinner.' The hotel reception is in the Chinese restaurant as you come in, and it is a beautiful setting with amazing food! I came to this location because it is close to St. Jakob event center in Basel, Switzerland. The bus stop is a 5-minute walk, and the train station is a 10-minute walk. There are several service businesses: salons, restaurants, and grocery stores. Even though my workshop absorbed my entire day, the owners were so kind to offer me a late-night snack from the restaurant with sparkling water for my room. I slept soundly in the most comfortable bed ever! The affordability, cleanliness, location, and the wonderful owners & staff made my stay a restful experience.

Absolutely fabulous accommodation! As the host said when we arrived, everything in the kitchen is there, all you need is the food (even had oil, spices, milk, etc). The host has gone the extra mile to make it feel like a home away from home (except much cleaner than mine). The location is about 800m to Lidl & train station, at the top of the hill is a hiking area. For me the best thing was the size of the bath (I'm 190cm and was cosy). Also, the bed mattresses in the king bed - one was firm, one was soft. He's really thought of everything! As everyone else has said, the welcome gift was nice, the place was immaculately clean and spacious.

    This is a wonderful hotel in Grenzach, wit excelent location at 2 minutes from both train and bus and some restautants. The hotel is very clean, the room was so spacious, clean, warm, comfitable. The breakfast is excellent, the staff very polite and helpful. I highly recommend the hotel and the location of the place for traveling in the region.
