I was born and grew up in Hamburg, still love it, and always like to come back for a visit. I am glad the main part of the city hasn't changed too much and is still as beautiful as it was many years ago. There is a lot of construction going on at the moment, however, but I guess that's necessary to keep things in good condition. Viator as a tour operator was very disappointing I booked a tour and I thought I could start the tour, hop on hop off plus the harbour and lake tour, any day he had me scheduled for day I arrived and of course I couldn’t read it because I got there late in the day. The rooms were large and ours were very quiet as they gave on to the court yard. The hotel is located on the second floor which made it feel very safe, you cannot just wander in. Although, there was no breakfast, very nice tea and coffee were served at the reception plus really yummy butter croissants, for free. I would definitely stay there again.
