A delightful village in Saxony with fascinating rock formations, an excellent tourist office, the Guest card gave free transport on busses, trains and ferries. The bus timetables were very difficult to decipher. The tourist office was very helpful with providing transport routes and walking route information. Unfortunately the grocery shop was closed in August for holidays, so the lebensmittel was in Bad Schandau. The place is next to a road but the traffic did not bother us. Room was clean and so was the bathroom. We stayed one night and did not meet any staff member though we got to speak to one over the phone , who was helpful though he didnt speak much English.
