It's a good "hub" from which to make day trips.
It's a good "hub" from which to make day trips. There is a nice Kuckuckuhr (cookoo clock) store on the main road near the section called Niederwasser. There are forests in which to do some good hiking. Walking the older part of the towns in the area can be relaxing. Get an area map and research where to park your car. Small town parking can be tricky. Traveling by bus and train with a free Black Forest Pass while you are in the area can be beneficial - make sure train schedules are current. I will definitely come back to Hornberg/Niederwasser to Gaestehaus Ursula's Bed and Breakfast as my hub in the future.Guest review byMonicaUnited States - 6.0

Travelling with my bicycle, I asked the staff to park it in a safe place, so they opened me the garage. Then, I chose to have dinner and tasted the delicious Black forest burger. All along, the staff was perfect. The room was spacious, clean, and with everything I needed for one night. The hotel is perfectly located near Hornberg, in the middle of the Black Forest. I definitely would have spent a few more nights to enjoy the sauna and the books.Guest review byAntoninFrance
