We were traveling with our small daughter, and -in contrast to other hotels we have been to before- we found the crip perfectly equipped with a changing table, pillow and comforter, and sheets in our room when we checked in, which was perfect. The building previously belonged to the post and is located close to the Porta Nigra and is very nicely renovated. The rooms are not only stylish but also very practical and offer a lot of space. There is a huge selection for breakfast - from scrambled eggs to fruits and cornflakes.

Kenn appears to be a residential village. It's very quiet and safe. On the other hand, there are few amenities; there's one bakery and one butcher, and that's about it. A supermarket is further along, in Schweich.

Kenn is a tiny village.

Kenn is a tiny village. There's a good bakery and a butcher nearby. In Schweich (a 5-minute drive away) you'll find Lidl, Aldi, and other large stores. A bus stop is near the house (towards Trier). There are some wonderful walks in the area, but you'll need a car for most of the best hikes. There are also five nearby walks starting from the house.

A wide selection of delicious schnitzels for dinner, a smooth check-in process and time (we were delayed by two hours due to unforeseen circumstances, but they didn't make any fuss about it), and a breakfast with plenty of choice. A great location for an overnight stay if you're traveling through.

The location is near the old city of Trier, vineyards are...

The location is near the old city of Trier, vineyards are nearby, the highway runs past Kenn with an on- and off-ramp, and the Moselle River is nearby. Kenn is a quiet town, and the entire town is "zone 30."
