Centrally located, many towns are easily accessible by bike. Meppen Tourist Information offers excellent free cycling junction maps! There are also lovely bakeries with good coffee and pastries.

Meppen is a lovely little district town. Very manageable.

Meppen is a lovely little district town. Very manageable. A lot of effort has been put into improving the town center. The restaurants are all good, and the prices are reasonable. The area around Meppen is balm for the soul. A very peaceful landscape, perfect for exploring by bicycle on excellent cycle paths.

Meppen's old town is definitely worth a short trip.

Meppen's old town is definitely worth a short trip. The surrounding area, with the confluence of the Ems and Hase rivers, is excellent for hiking. The restaurants are very diverse; a good one is "Täglich".

Meppen is a great starting point for cycling and hiking tours in the surrounding area. There are plenty of restaurants to suit every taste and budget. And if the weather isn't so good, there are plenty of places to visit that are weather-independent.

We don't live far from Meppen ourselves.

We don't live far from Meppen ourselves. But we just wanted to get away for a bit with friends and the dog to enjoy a nice walk and be together. We didn't visit Meppen during our stay, but we did go for walks in the surrounding area. Nevertheless, I think Meppen is a beautiful, picturesque town. I love visiting it.

Very friendly staff. Nice big room and great big bathroom. The light and lamps in the room were very good and gave a great light. The dinner in the restaurant (extra) was very good. Also the breakfast was great with many possibilities. Free parking by the hotel.

This place caters to bicycle tourists. As we were, in fact, bicycle tourists, the bicycle garage was a great feature. The Tiek 2 is a couple of meters away from the main hotel and features little apartments with a mini kitchen. Bed was fine, place was clean.

The hotel has 2 different locations. We were in the 2nd location and had to go for breakfast to the other location (500 metres distance). Not a problem for us as the weather was good and we had our bikes with us. The breakfast was oke.

Comfortable hotel, modern, very clean, and steps away from the town’s center. The staff is friendly, the spa and fitness area is up to par. The coffee is the best I’ve had in a while. In my opinion, the best place to stay in Meppen.
