I had a very late evening check-in and last minute booking due to train delays and Hotel was very accommodating with providing access. Lovely location and room was very welcoming. Wished I could have stayed longer.

Very nice, clean and cozy hotel. Very friendly and helpful staff.. Nice breakfast and pool. Room was clean and modern with good shower Clean and well maintained, This was our second stay here, and we will be happy to return for a third visit. The room is spacious, the bed comfortable, the swimming pool gorgeous and the location excellent. Free parking, unless you want to secure a spot (10 euros). We didn’t have the breakfast, but it looked great✌😉🇩🇪

    A great place to stay if you're traveling to Freiburg and...

    A great place to stay if you're traveling to Freiburg and want to save money or relax in a peaceful neighborhood. I didn’t see any restaurants nearby, but there are buses to Freiburg, and the schedule works well. It’s safe for solo travelers, and about 45 minutes from Freiburg’s center by bus.

    Merdingen is a small village about 15 minutes far from Friburg, therefore it's very quiet so you can sleep very well. There's a nice balcony as well. I could pay cash, just living the money on the table in the room (I just loved the trust placed on the guests by the owners). The owner was very kind. They give some small presents which I really appreciated.
