Our stay was, in one word, perfect. We had initially booked for just one night, but we were so captivated by the entire atmosphere, the impeccable style, and the sheer cleanliness of our room that we spontaneously decided to extend our stay for another night. From the moment we arrived, we were welcomed in the most hospitable way. A special thank you goes to Carolien, who is absolutely wonderful. She was so kind and patient in answering all our messages, making us feel completely at ease. Her generosity was truly above and beyond; we were given the opportunity to check out an hour later and were treated to a minibar filled with complimentary drinks. The room itself was a masterclass in design. The decor was so tastefully done, with a soothing palette of green and gray tones complemented by a beautiful wooden parquet floor. The bathroom was simply a dream—the quality and attention to detail were exceptional, and the shower was absolutely amazing. It was the kind of bathroom you wish you had at home! Comfort is clearly a top priority here. We slept like babies in the incredibly comfortable beds. The convenience of free on-site parking was another fantastic bonus. We will definitely be going back. Thank you, Carolien, for an amazing and truly unforgettable stay!

A nice, quiet town with the excellent sight of the Schloss to visit - for its cheap entrance fee, this little castle offers a lot more to see inside than lots of much bigger and more expensive castles in the Netherlands or Germany, and most notably Hochowsterwitz in Austria.

Mespelbrunn is primarily known for its castle. However, excursions to Aschaffenburg, Wertheim, and Lohr are interesting and easily doable. I was very pleasantly surprised by the castle in Wertheim. It's free!

Mespelbrunn also has beautiful surroundings. We had a delicious meal on Würzburgerstrasse at the Indier in the beer garden, which was also very good. We also visited the fair in Asschaffenburg, but the Christmas market there is also very beautiful in the winter. And there are excellent parking facilities.

The proximity to the castle is excellent.

The proximity to the castle is excellent. Guided tours are available, and there are other places to eat and drink nearby. There's an ice cream parlor with a pizzeria, and a shop with a beverage store.

The castle was unfortunately closed, as was the castle garden. Parking costs €2, but there's nothing to see. Even the toilets weren't open; there was only a sign indicating they were the only ones there. So, €2 for NOTHING!!! That's what you call a rip-off!

We stayed there for one night; we were just passing through. We also visited Mespelbrunn Castle, which was very beautiful and interesting. The town has several hotels and restaurants. It's situated in a natural setting with several hiking trails.

Very comfortable, warm room with the added possibility to use the very comfy folding chair on the terrace where my room opened. Good breakfast, plus good evening meal could also be had. The WLAN (the wi-fi) worked well. Everything was reasonably priced. Location in the middle of the practically one-street town, reasonably near the excellent attraction, the Schloss Mespelbrunn, which is also very well worth the visit.
