While the hotel is located in the pedestrian zone of the "old town", we were able to park temporarily in front of the hotel. Inside, the reception was very helpful and friendly, describing the facilities, and providing a street diagram showing the location of the public parking lot reserved for hotel guests (a short little walk). The hotel reception then carried our bags up the staircase to our room on the first floor. And, when checking out, the hotel housecleaning gal insisted on carrying our bags down to the reception. The hotel staff are the most friendly and helpful staff that I have encountered in hotel visits. The hotel has the best location for visiting Greetsiel. The hotel has good dining facilities including an outdoor setting for dinner or relaxing with a beverage.

Excellent location with views of harbour and sea. Close to rail station and buses. Good parking at hotel for a fee. excellent buffet breakfast including freshly cooked egg. Very extensive a la carte menu in English for dinner. Very friendly helpful staff throughout who spoke English. Wellness facilities including two pools and a variety of sauna and resting rooms including outside sun deck. Room had amazing sea view and lovely secluded balcony and lounge. King-size bed very comfy with duvet and two pillows. Coffee machine and TV. Bathroom with shower at working towel rail. There's nothing to fault this hotel and it's my second visit and soon will be my third!!
