I checked in quite late, but the night staff was still very attentive and friendly. My room was already heated when I entered, which was a thoughtful touch. The bathroom was spotless, and even the small details like the folded towels felt personal.

I always feel at home in Moers. I lived there for a few years and return a few times each year. A day just to shop and enjoy the food. And a few times to catch up with old colleagues. Always a wonderful atmosphere. A wonderful town.

Moers boasts a beautiful city park and lovely houses in the city center. The restaurants are delicious. Free parking is also available. From there, you can easily reach Xanten, Rheinberg, Kamp-Lintfort, the Ruhr region, and the Netherlands. The area is lush and green, creating a pleasant atmosphere.

The city of Moers still has beautiful little old town...

The city of Moers still has beautiful little old town streets with very individual owner-operated shops and a wonderful castle park directly adjacent to the city center; high-quality restaurants can also be found, definitely worth a trip.

Unfortunately, it's a rather sad town.

Unfortunately, it's a rather sad town. There are still a few beautiful buildings, but the rest isn't very appealing. The best thing about Moers is Grafschafter Wirtshaus, a super cozy and delicious restaurant. We ate there two nights. I would choose Kettwig over Moers or Düsseldorf. Don't forget that everything in Germany is closed on Sundays!

A lovely city center for strolling.

A lovely city center for strolling. A wide variety of shops, something for everyone. Enjoyed an interesting performance at the castle theater. Several cafes with outdoor seating. A diverse selection of restaurants.

Room number 7 was okay for one night.

Room number 7 was okay for one night. It was very warm and on a busy road. Fortunately, there was a fan and earplugs. The beds were very comfortable. The only problem was a tilt-and-turn window in the room that you couldn't see out of.

Booked last minute for a Euro 2024 trip. Perfect location, great hotel, staff were freindly. Room was of high quality and had a balcony . We couldn't asked for more and was great vaue for money. Fantastic breakfast as well. Just a shame I booked in a rush and didn't look at their website and booked direct instead. Highly recommended.
