Very friendly staff and owners/operators. They are working their way to re-establish the business as it had seen deterioration under previous owner until just over a year ago (spring 2024). We had pancakes in the Biergarten, quite tasty and good size.

This was our second stay at Gasthaus Luthemuhle in Nettetal.

This was our second stay at Gasthaus Luthemuhle in Nettetal. The locality was perfect for a quiet stay in the German countryside. The food at the hotel is first class as is the wine selection. There is no elevator so a stay on the top floor is challenging but the staff are very helpful. They don't have an in-house laundry facility but do have a connection to a nearby laundry dry cleaning service which works well. These are minor criticisms of a first class facility. We will be staying there again next year

We celebrated our "finding day" with a delicious meal at Ingenhoven Castle in the Lobberich district. A very attractive castle restaurant with a select and very tasty menu. The Nettetal lake district is within walking distance and also invites you to take short or long bike rides.

The hostess wasn't very friendly when we arrived. There were very few dishes and cutlery: 4 mugs, 4 cups, and only 4 plates for each person. There was no cupboard to put your supplies in. The beds were comfortable, but the shower was also small.

A pleasant place to stay.

A pleasant place to stay. Nice room with everything you need, cozy restaurant, and the food was excellent. Absolutely perfect. We played golf one day and cycled one day. We didn't visit the town of Nettetal.

If you rely on public transport, it's a bit difficult.

If you rely on public transport, it's a bit difficult. Otherwise, the people are very nice and helpful, and the town (Grefrath and Nettetal-Loberich) is beautiful. The accommodation was very clean, and the breakfast was simply superb. A wide selection of fish, cheese, sausage, muesli, eggs, etc. / Highly recommended.

From the hotel, you can follow hiking trails (or cycle paths) along the Nette River and past smaller lakes to Nettetal, which has a lovely pedestrian zone and a café serving excellent cakes and ice cream. The owner is the pastry chef Marcel Seeger, known from the WDR television program "Hier und Heute." A visit there is highly recommended!

Just 5 minutes off the A61 motorway Luthemuhle is a little gem of a place. Situated just outside Nettetal the hotel is surrounded by quiet countryside ideal for walking and cycling. The outside area is very relaxing and the staff are very friendly and attentive. The room we had was very clean, quiet and spacious. We had dinner and breakfast in the restaurant and the food was excellent.We would have liked to stay longer but we were just passing through.

Nice hotel in quiet surroundings. Great restaurant with indoor and outdoor seating. Traditional German cuisine and okay selection of beer and wine. The rooms were really nice and beds were very comfortable. The breakfast was great and tasteful. Surrounding area offered good paths to walk. The hotel is located right beside a stable, so the sound of horses was relaxing.

The hotel was nice, and our room was even better than in the photos. The only downside was that reception wasn't staffed continuously, there was nobody there when we arrived, and nobody during the night either, which made it feel a bit like a ghost hotel. Nevertheless, self-check-in was very easy, and the staff we met in the morning were very friendly and helpful.

We had dinner here. The food was plentiful and very well and quickly prepared. The dining room staff were attentive. The area around the hotel is picturesque with a small lake and wildfowl.
