Great location in Pforzheim - easy to access by train also. The hotel room was comfortable enough and good value for money. The breakfast was excellent - eggs and multiple types of bread were served alongside pancakes, yogurt, cheese, ham and cakes.

The breakfast was great. Not a lot for a vegan guest but otherwise everything was covered. The hotel was scrupulously clean - very impressive! Very nice staff - they gave me a kettle and cup for my tea in the room!

A truly wonderful hotel, set in a beautiful location, with well signposted walks in the Black Forest right from the door. The receptionist welcomed us warmly and showed us to a spacious, elegant room with its own balcony. Dinner was excellent, served in a beautiful dining room, as was the breakfast the next morning in the conservatory - every type of healthy option was on offer and the coffee was excellent. The staff were attentive but unobtrusive - my husband went down to the kitchen in the morning and came back with a tray of early-morning tea, most welcome! The whole place was spotlessly clean. On-site parking was an added advantage. We were disappointed we had only one night there, but have promised ourselves a return visit next year.

    I love the position of the hotel. A beautiful location at the top of the black forest. It's our third time here, and will certainly stay here again when i'm in the area! The food in the restaurant for dinner was excellent, the steaks were really good! The breakfast is plentiful, traditionally German which was excellent, and the coffee was very nice.

    Location of hotel is so perfect for calm and quiet atmosphere, big rooms, breakfast and dinner. They have such a great fish restaurant. Free parking. The price is also good which compiler everything. I highly recommend this place for everyone. Thanks from India

    What a beautiful location! The restaurant was very good, with fresh fish as their speciality. The working water wheel adds to the charm. The hotel has a spacious terrace to hang out on.

    Location is great , good for holidays in Black Forest . But not value for money for a hotel . Not even a kettle was Present and no coffee etc. Breakfast is also ok ok ..!!
