lovely hotel on the hills, a 20 min drive from North Cologne. The hosts were amazing, and so was the breakfast - which was served in a nice area overlooking the valley.

The Young Owner Manager of the hotel Mr. Marcel Kreber is a true professional and yet very friendly. He went out of the way to help us. We had booked a single room but he was gracious enough to arrange for an extra bed for my wife at a paltry sum of Euro 10.

Personally, I found it a shame that there weren't more...

Personally, I found it a shame that there weren't more restaurants nearby and that the hotel doesn't have its own restaurant. While there is a cafeteria, everything closes at 6 p.m., so you have to get in the car for a bite to eat or a drink.

Everything you need is there. Very, very clean. New rooms.

Everything you need is there. Very, very clean. New rooms. Here, new meets old perfectly. The staff is incredibly friendly and accommodating. The location and the fairytale forest are simply beautiful... nostalgic and takes you right back to your childhood. Really wonderfully done and beautifully maintained!! You absolutely have to go there!

Wonderful cathedral, great cathedral grounds, fairytale...

Wonderful cathedral, great cathedral grounds, fairytale hotel for kids with snack bar and plenty of seating, pure nature all around, many parking spaces - some of which are subject to a fee, many people around from 8:30 am onwards, very early in the morning and late in the evening it is quiet at the cathedral.

The hosts were lovely, and the property itself was very cosy and had everything we needed. Surrounding countryside was gorgeous especially if you're into hiking or running. The hotel next door has a restaurant so it's easy enough to get food in a pinch. Thank you for your hospitality!

We love this hotel and have stayed here many times. Great quiet location with wonderful woods all around. Hotel restaurant is excellent but other restaurants are within easy reach with many choices from top class to average.
