Olching is a good starting point for activities around...

Olching is a good starting point for activities around Munich. For a visit to Munich's city center, it's best to take the S-Bahn (suburban train) from Olching, as parking is difficult to find. Olching itself also offers lovely opportunities for hiking through the forest, mini-golf, and a swimming lake for relaxing days.

We didn't see much of Olching :) But we found a typical...

We didn't see much of Olching :) But we found a typical Bavarian inn that we really enjoyed. The walk from the hotel to the town center was also very scenic. And we would definitely take a trip by car to Lake Ammersee again. The Dachau Concentration Camp Memorial is 12 km away.

Warm and welcoming staff, very friendly, attentive, and accommodating! The decor is rather simple, but appealing. The location is better suited for business trips or short stays, as it's situated somewhat outside the town in an industrial area. Nevertheless, it's relatively quiet.

Perfect for one night. Good value for money. Quiet, but it lacks air conditioning in case of a heatwave. I loved the shower room with its non-slip, safe tiles. Excellent quality tea at breakfast.

We visited the Daxerhof for a meal.

We visited the Daxerhof for a meal. Very nice beer garden, friendly service, good Bavarian cuisine. We chose the Holiday Inn in Olching for its value for money and its proximity to the Dachau Concentration Camp Memorial Site.

M1 family ticket is 18 euro and you can go to Munich and in Munich by all transport ways.
