Central location for Lübeck and Schwerin as we visit, but there is much more. I do recommend to read a bit beforehand before going about the history because it is interesting and not long time ago. I did not, and that was a shortcoming for my holiday. Actually astonishing what was happened short time ago, here at the border what was once East and West Germany. You need to love nature, lakes also. Walking/ hiking. Water sport as well. Small villages, old cities. And. (East German, may I still say this?) East German hospitality, it's just different but not unwilling. The hospitality is correct but do not expect a lot of smiles.Guest review byRoelNetherlands

The landlord waited for us patiently after our flight was delayed. He greeted us with a smile on arrival and it was clear, as he introduced us to Flat A, that our happiness and comfort were his priority.
