The hospitality/service provided by the hotel members was great! And the location was also just perfect for my interests in hiking and stargazing. What made my stay more special was also the fact that they paid really great attention to tiny details when it comes to adding tiny decorations and accessories all over the hotel. Also their hotel has a "sun" theme and they have incorporated this theme in their room keys as well as the rooms themselves. The place has a charming rustic vibe to it too, which only added to my experience! Definitely going back several times.

It is a beautiful place, beautiful view from the window, enormous rooms, very nice sauna, extremely friendly stuff. They even congratulated my partner to his birthday, it wasn't asked ot excepted, my partner was very happy. We really liked our time in the hotel.

Wonderful environment. Private parking area. Warm welcome with a big smile at the reception. Great advice on where to eat and where to shop. Very clean, really big and beautiful bedroom with magnificent beds, TV and a terrace. Tea waiting for you. Very clean bathroom with 3 big wonderful bottles of Dove-soaps: for your hands, your hair and your body! Perfect breakfast with everything you can wish for and a very nice staff! Higly recommended!

    Reit in Winkl is a lovely Bavarian village that has everything you need, and great access to other areas and facilities just a short drive away. It is right on the doorstep of a great family friendly ski area (Winklmoos/Steinplatte) and easy travelling other areas such as St Johann or Kitzbühel.

    It's a small town, you'll see familiar faces every day while walking around :P. The food is yummy and there are a lot of mountains that you can walk or run. People here are also really friendly. Grüß Gott!

    For us, Reit im Winkl is one of the most beautiful, small towns of the Chiemgau / Kaiserwinkel / Berchtesgardener Land, and the perfect "base camp" to other Tourist Attractions in this region of South-Eastern Bavaria, and the close by Austrian City of Salzburg!

It appears there is no change to attitudes towards the disabled since the mid 1930's

    Small town with a thriving community feel to it.

    Small town with a thriving community feel to it. Plenty of good places to eat and drink. During the summer there are cultural events happening weekly. For the walkers there are plenty of walks starting from the town nd plenty of other a short drive away. Munich, Saltsburg and Innsbruck only an hours drive away

    Very nice beautiful place to stay alone or with family. I was there already more than 10 times, but wanna come back again and again! Very beautiful nature and fresh air in this place and many kilometers around in Germany and Austria- for me this is the heart of all beuatiful places in this region.

Good breakfast and restaurant for traditional Bavarian meals, reasonably priced. Centrally located and easy to walk around the small town, parking spaces provided by the hotel.
