From the moment we arrived, we were impressed by the warmth and professionalism of the staff. The cocktails at the bar were some of the best we’ve ever had – creative, perfectly balanced, and beautifully presented. Definitely a highlight of our evenings! The hotel’s architecture is simply stunning, with every detail thoughtfully designed to blend elegance and modern comfort. Surrounded by breathtaking scenery, it felt like we were in a perfect little paradise. We left feeling relaxed and inspired. Everything was fine. We arrived late, but the access to the room was easy. The room is very spacious and cosy. The place is a bit far from the main highway, but it provides wonderful rest at the very reasonable price. We will be glad to stay there on our next trip through Germany.

    We received a warm welcome and ongoing friendly attention during our stay. The location was excellent for our needs. The room was nicer than we anticipated and was spotless. The bed was comfortable (and we are very fussy in that regard) The shower was good and the bathroom was a very good size Breakfast (continental) in a lovely room, was very good and set us up for the day. The hotel just had such a lovely feel to it - even in February. Would love to stay again in the summer months to really appreciate the facilities.

    Gardels Basic / Der Kleine Hans is somewhere we’ve stayed before and have stayed again because it is a good hotel. The “basic” rooms are just that basic (i.e. shared kettle in the tea room rather than your own) but the beds are comfy, the rooms a good size and the shower is powerful and clean. Modern rooms. For a no frills stay I would highly recommend.
